Rescue Story: I was having a very hard winter outside when my foster saw me and my frozen tail. They made sure I had food and a warm place to sleep until CCE could trap me in the spring. Unfortunately, it was too late for my little tail, but my foster helped me see the many wonderful benefits of being a housecat and I never looked back. 

About Me: Hi, my name is Rime and I am excited to meet you! I am chatty, playful, and love to cuddle. 

I spent most of my first year outside, which was okay until it got cold! I lost half of my tail and got some bad frostbite on the toes of my back feet before I found somewhere I could get out of the snow. My tail is a little shorter now, and the vet says that my toes will heal with time, but until then they’re a little sensitive, so please be careful when you pick me up or put me down. 

My name is another word for ‘hoarfrost’, which you can see on the branches of trees on those really cold mornings! My foster started to call me Rime because they worried about me whenever the nights got chilly, and I guess it stuck because I come when you call. 

I was scared at first when I was brought inside, but now I can’t imagine a life without a soft place to sleep and scheduled meals. I love spending time with my people, and I LOVE little head kisses; I simply cannot get enough of them. I am a talkative little fellow and will gladly tell you all about my day, remind you when dinner time has arrived or when it is time for bed. 

It took me a little while to learn how to be polite to other cats; I just want to play SO badly that I forget sometimes that I can’t just rush in. My foster says I would do well having some younger cats to play with, and I will definitely want to play with you too!

Onyx & Noir Grove

Energy levels: Medium – we enjoy playtime but are also content to lounge and relax!

Good with:

  • Cats: Would probably be best in a home with just the two of us!
  • Dogs: Unknown, could do well with a proper introduction
  • Kids: Yes, wedo well with kids that are cat savvy!

Rescue Story: We were previously adopted out after CCE rescued our pregnant mama and helped us find loving homes. Unfortunately our previous owner was unable to take us with them when they accepted a job overseas. So now we are back in care and looking for a second shot at a forever home, could it be with you? 

About Us: Hi there! We’re Onyx and Noir – two gentle-hearted sisters looking for our forever home… together!

We may look like a matching pair, but we each have our own sweet purr-sonality. I’m Onyx – the snugglier one. I’m a total cuddle bug who loves to curl right up next to your face. Morning cuddles? I’ve got you covered. I might even nuzzle you awake with little purrs and head bumps to start your day with some love.

And I’m Noir – I’m the calmer, more reserved sister. I’ll happily stretch out by your feet and keep you company with a quiet, grounding presence. I might not be in your face (like some cats I know), but you’ll always know I’m nearby, offering calm companionship.

We’re both medium-energy gals who love to play in short bursts, then settle down for long, cozy naps. We’re not overly needy, but you’ll always find us close—loyal, loving, and softly affectionate. Sometimes I (Onyx) might surprise you with a spontaneous cuddle attack. Noir prefers to sneak in a nap beside you like a tiny, furry shadow.

We love soaking up the sunshine by the window, taking long naps in warm patches of light.. You’ll often find us curled up together, purring in sync, or watching our humans with amused curiosity as they gush about how adorable we are (and let’s be honest… they’re not wrong).

Our dream home is calm, cozy, and full of love, just like us. We’re deeply bonded and bring out the best in each other, so we must be adopted together. We’re good with gentle kids and may be okay with a respectful, cat-savvy dog (no guarantees, we haven’t met one yet). But other cats? We’d rather not, thanks. We like being the only feline queens of the castle.

A quick note from our foster mama: we do have a chicken allergy, so we need food that’s chicken-free (don’t worry, there are lots of tasty options!). Otherwise, we love our daily mix of wet and dry food!

About Me: Hey, I’m Cora! White, beige, and grey with the cutest grey patch over one eye—kind of like a little superhero mask (which suits me perfectly, if I do say so myself).

When my siblings and I first arrived in foster care, we were all so tiny and scared of people. I took it upon myself to be the protector. I was the first to hiss and puff up whenever a human came near—not because I was mean, but because I thought I had to keep my family safe. I didn’t understand that love could come with gentle hands and warm laps. I was just the bravest one, trying to guard the others the only way I knew how.

But oh, how things have changed.

Now I’m one of the most affectionate kittens in the whole crew. I love cuddling in your arms or your lap, climbing up on your shoulders, and giving you slow blinks and gentle kisses. I’ll even nibble your zipper if I think you’re not paying enough attention to me! I still have a big heart—I just show it now through love and snuggles instead of hisses.

When I’m not cuddling, I’m all about playtime. I wrestle with my siblings, chase toys across the floor, and zoom around the house like a little bolt of joy. I’m the perfect mix of loving lap cat and nonstop fun machine.

My ideal forever home would include one of my siblings or a young, playful cat friend who can keep up with my energy. I’d probably be a bit too much for a senior kitty—I have a lot of love and zoomies to give!

I’m not picky when it comes to food—I love wet food of all kinds and happily crunch on dry kibble too.

About Me: Hi future fam, I’m Denny! I’m a grey tabby girl with a soft white belly, the most mesmerizing green-brown eyes, and a whole lotta personality. I might be small, but I pack a big punch when it comes to fun, love, and adventure. Whether I’m chasing toys, leaping like a gymnast, or staging a surprise shoulder climb while you’re not looking – I’m always ready to make life a little more exciting!

I’ve got the perfect balance: I’m equal parts zoomies and snuggles. I’ll be bouncing off the walls one minute, then curled up in your lap or napping in a sunbeam the next. I absolutely adore being held in your arms, playing gently with your fingers or giving you soft paw-taps just to remind you I’m here and adorable.

I’m super interactive and playful, especially with other kittens. Wrestling matches with my siblings? Yes please. Hide-and-seek through cat tunnels? Count me in. I’d thrive in a home with one of my siblings or a young, playful cat who’s up for some tag-team adventures. A senior cat might find me a little too fun, so someone who matches my energy would be best.

About Me: Hi there, I’m Arby—the goofy, gentle-hearted boy of my litter! I may be the only guy among my sisters, but that just makes me extra special (and a little more polite, if I do say so myself). With my gorgeous green eyes, soft white fur with cute black patches, and just the tiniest bit of tongue always peeking out, I’m kind of irresistibly adorable. Trust me, you’ll see.

I’m full of energy—I love zooming through my tunnel toy (I need one at my new home, please!), wrestling with my sisters, climbing cat trees, and chasing anything that rolls. But after all the action, I’ll melt right into your arms or lap and purr myself to sleep. I’m the perfect mix of playful and snuggly.

Even though I was the last of my siblings to be rescued, I’ve come a long way. I sometimes do my own thing, but I still love cuddling, grooming, and playing with my sisters. About Me: Hi, I’m Robin! I’m a sweet little lady with soft grey tabby stripes, beautiful green eyes, and a one-of-a-kind face — half beige, half greya gorgeous grey tabby kitten, I’m one of five sisters, and while we all have our own personalities, I tend to be the calmest of the bunch. That doesn’t mean I don’t love to play — I do! I’ll happily chase a wand toy, wrestle with a jingly ball, or play tag with my siblings. But after a little fun, I’m the first to curl up beside you (or better yet, on you), settle in with a happy purr, and just enjoy your company. I absolutely adore humans and always want to be close — whether that’s in your lap, in your arms, or tucked beside you while you work, read, or relax.

I give off gentle, soft “princess energy” — I’m not demanding or wild, but I’m incredibly affectionate and full of love. I’ll often come trotting over just to press my tiny head into your hand for pets or to tuck myself into the crook of your arm for a cozy nap. About Me:  Hi, I’m Vesta! 🖤 I’m full of charm and sweetness—and I’ve got the softest purrs to prove it.

I’ve got a pretty chill vibe most of the time, but don’t let that fool you—I still get the classic kitten zoomies! One minute I’m darting across the room like a tiny panther, and the next, I’m snoozing under a blanket like a cozy burrito. I love burrowing under the covers all by myself for a peaceful nap even if you’re not around, my foster mama says it’s the cutest thing.

I’m a total cuddle bug, too. Pet me and I’ll roll over just to show you how much I adore it. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Chin scratches? Even better. I’ll soak up every bit of attention with the happiest little wiggles.

I get along great with other cats—young or old doesn’t matter, I’m happy to be part of the gang. I bring calm, sweet energy into every room I enter, unless it’s time to play! My ideal home would have another cat, and if you don’t have one, my sister Venus is also available.

About Me: Hello, I’m Berry and it’s berry nice to meet you. I am a little shy at first, but once I adjust, I am one sweet and friendly girl.

I was described by my previous owner as a cuddle bug and while strangers may not get to see my super loving side, my people definitely will! I am more than happy to snuggle in bed or on your lap while we watch Netflix. I am not too playful, but since I am still young, I do have some zoomies in me. 

I used to live with another cat and did really well with him. I used to cuddle with him and he groomed me alllll the time (which I loved). I would likely adjust well to a home with another cat for me to bond with. I have not lived with small kids or dogs so it’s not known how I would do but I should adjust with slow and proper introductions.

I  am one curious girl and I am easily intrigued. I love wand toys and a good play session. I am a great jumper and love to relax on the tall cat tree at Cheery Cat with the other kittens… whether we’re playing or taking a nap up there, it’s a good place to be.

About Me:  Hi, I’m Annie and I am one sweet little girl that’s ALL floof! I am told I am one big cuddle bug and what I like to do most of the time is snuggle right up next to you. I may be shy at first, but promise… it’s all show!

I do play a little bit, but I don’t have wild kitten-like energy. I love to sit on my tall cat tree and watch the birds through the window. Overall, I am one easy going girl. 

I do well with kids and lived with a young child previously. I am told I also adjusted to a dog pretty easily. I think with slow introductions and patience I would adjust to most homes. My ideal home is one that is a little on the slower side, but especially one that will love cuddling as much as me 🙂
